Hornets Extra: Hornets unveil 2014-15 television schedule

Earlier today, the Charlotte Hornets and its broadcast partner, SportSouth, officially unveiled its 2014-15 game broadcast schedule, with the first of 80 broadcasts coming on October 29th, when the Hornets take on the Milwaukee Bucks at "The Hive" for the Hornets first game in Charlotte since 2002 at 7:00 p.m.  Just like years past, all of the Hornets telecasts will be televised, 80 on SportSouth, while the two games against Toronto will be nationally televised on ESPN.

Returning to handle all the play-by-play action is a person whose name has been synonymous to Charlotte NBA Basketball, Steve Martin, who has been the voice of the franchise since the days of the original Hornets franchise will enter his 25th season with the team as it's voice, while Dell Curry returns for his sixth season as the team's color analyst.  Stephanie Ready, who has been with the organization since 2004, when they were known as the Charlotte Bobcats, will enter her 11th season as the team's sideline reporter.

All SportSouth telecasts will begin and end with "Hornets Live", the team's pre-game and post-game show.

The announcement of the team's TV schedule comes just 3 days after the Hornets announced their multi-year deal with CBS Radio's WFNZ-AM(610 The Fan), which will soon be taken over by Florida-based Beasley Broadcast Group, to return as the team's flagship radio home.
