The Charlotte Hornets are back at it again, as they come back home to Time Warner Cable Arena to square off against the Brooklyn Nets this evening. Charlotte is coming off a tough double-overtime loss at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies last night in Memphis 113-107, while the Brooklyn Nets won their game last night at the Barclays Center with a 88-70 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Scouting the Nets
If you've been taking a look at the Atlantic Division standings lately, it's been somewhat interesting, but for the Brooklyn Nets, they are in a mere second place despite having a 9-12 record. They got that 9th win of the year last night at home, defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 88-70, behind former Duke star Mason Plumlee's 18 point performance, while Kevin Garnett would grab down 12 rebounds on the night for the Nets. They are finding themselves in a back-to-back situation, as they pay a visit to Charlotte tonight to take on the Hornets, who had a game of their own last night, which resulted in a loss in double-overtime to Memphis on the road.
Scouting the Hornets
Memphis may won the war last night in double-overtime, but Kemba Walker won the battle with a season-high 28 points for the Hornets in their game last night in Memphis against the Grizzlies, in which Charlotte lost 113-107. The Hornets are back at "The Hive" tonight for the back end of a back-to-back set, welcoming in the Brooklyn Nets to Charlotte for this match-up tonight.
