Hornets Extra: L.A. Clippers 113, Hornets 92
113
92
Another game, another loss, as the Charlotte Hornets saw their losing streak reach 6 games, as they are now 4-11 on the year after the Los Angeles Clippers demolished Charlotte last night at Time Warner Cable Arena by a final margin of 113-92.
Leading the way for the Clippers in the win were co-captains Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, who each had 22 points to lead the way for the Clippers, who improved to 8-5 on the season. Joining the two were Jamal Crawford, who had 21 points off the bench for the Clippers, while former Duke standout J.J. Redick added in 17 points to the effort.
Teamwise, Los Angeles finished the game shooting 51.1% from the field, while winning the rebounding war by a 43-33 margin. The Hornets were led in the loss by Cody Zeller off the bench with 17 points.
The Hornets hope to end this long 6-game losing skid tomorrow night as they look for some revenge against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers for a 7:00 tip-off at Time Warner Cable Arena, before they break for Thanksgiving and returning to action on Friday night when they welcome in Charlotte native Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors to "The Hive" for a 7:00 p.m. start.
